MyHippocrates selected by the European Union for the development of e-health applications in the European cloud


FIWARE accelerate, FICHe (Future Internet Challenge eHealth)

MyHippocrates has been selected on the 30th of December 2014 by the European accelerator Fiware for applications/services development as part of FICHe project (Future Internet Challenge eHealth) which favors innovation and technological development in healthcare area. International jury composed of independent European experts attributed to MyHippocrates team scores of:

  • 81/100 for its technical experience and
  • 95/100 for the quality of its team.

The current MyHippocrates eHealth team is composed of experts located in Luxembourg, Vienna and Paris.

MyHippocrates was selected among 300 startups and SMEs. The European Union may subsidize the company development for a total amount of 217k€.

Fiware provides selected European candidates with cloud infrastructure and open source components, essential for the technical development of the projects that show Importance of hospitals. Thanks to Fiware technologies MyHippocrates will be able to reduce significantly its development costs and time to market to promote its new services to the population, physicians’ community and actors of medical field.

The apps retained by the project are DOCFINDER and GECAMED MOBILE*. DOCFINDER is an app which will allow the connection of the patient with the appropriate specialist after a first online diagnosis. GECAMED MOBILE is a web application which provides current GECAMED users with mobile access to patient’s medical records. This two apps will contribute to improve access to patient care and to facilitate the diagnosis.
